Paducah Middle BIG BLUE Speech Tournament

Please join us on Saturday, January 6,2018 for the Paducah Middle BIG BLUE Speech Tournament.  We will offer all 12 KHSSL junior speech events. There will be three preliminary rounds, with the top 6 in each event moving on to the final round. There is no limit on the number of entries a school can have in each event. Each student may enter a maximum of three events.  Entry fees are $6 for solo events and $12 for duo events.

Schools are responsible for providing one judge for every six entries (or portion thereof).  If you cannot cover your obligations, we will provide judges for a fee of $25 per judge.

The registration deadline is Thursday, January 4 at 5:00 p.m. Any drops after this time will be charged a $10 fee. A judge’s drop fee of $35 will occur for any judges unaccounted for on the day of the event. 8:00              Extemp draw (Round 1)

8:30              Round 1 

9:45              Extemp draw (Round 2)

10:15            Round 2

11:30 AM       Extemp Draw, Broadcasting Draw (Round 3)

12:00            Round 3

2:30 PM        Finals for all events (extemp/broadcast prep begin as soon as finals posted)

4:00 PM        Awards
